Elsevier Evolve FAQs: Students | Instructors

Elsevier Evolve textbook access is through the School of Nursing (not Seneca Libraries).  Please check with your instructors regarding access and/or availability.  NOTE: While faculty can access eBooks and resources through their Evolve account, students will have access to student resources with the purchase of the textbook. 

NEW to Seneca Libraries Collections: Visible Body Human Anatomy Atlas. 

A comprehensive 3D atlas of the human body. Includes both text-based and video-based descriptions of anatomical structures, functions, and systems in the human body.

To get started on your browser, click on "Launch Human Anatomy Atlas" (laptop screen image).  A new window opens, give it about a minute to load, then select the options available: Views (3-D images), Media (video/animation), Quizzes, My Library (add favourites).  Access complimentary lesson plans and lab activitiesSuggested Browser: Chrome.

Culturally competent care adapts care interventions to the cultural needs and preferences (ethnic and religious beliefs, values, and practices) of diverse clients. This program provides practical and effective methods for recognizing and dealing with the particular needs of clients coming from different cultures.
