About NCLEX

The NCLEX exam, also known as the National Council Licensure Examination, is a standardized test that determines if a candidate is ready to become a licensed nurse. The two types of NCLEX exams are NCLEX-PN (for practical or vocational nurses) and NCLEX-RN (for registered nurses).
