quote icon Cite Your Sources

Citing is a way of documenting where an idea, quote or fact in your assignment came from.
Failure to give credit for your sources is considered to be plagiarism. See Seneca College's Academic Integrity Policy for more information.
Take some time to review the information about APA or MLA Citation Style on the library web site.
Do you have a question about citing? Seneca Libraries offers online citation workshops which provide an overview of the importance of citing, avoiding plagiarism, and APA/MLA citation styles. The library also has an online citation chat where you could ask your APA or MLA citation questions.
