What is Leganto?

yellow accentLeganto is a course resources list management system that can be embedded into Blackboard courses.

Instructors can collaborate with liaison librarians to build resource lists for students.

Leganto has a variety of built-in features that encourage student engagement and ease-of-use for collaborators.

How To Get Started Using Leganto:

You can access Leganto just like any other course tool through the "Tools" link in any of your courses.

To enable a specific Leganto list for your course, associate the course in Leganto (see Step 5) and add a link to the course's main menu. (Click here for instructions.) 

Once you and your liaison librarian are connected, you can:

checkmarkShare a variety of previously selected resources you'd like to include in your Leganto list

checkmarkCollaborate to build a Leganto list around a particular topic

checkmarkLeverage the library's digital collection to list textbook alternatives for students
