(Conference Board of Canada) Reports and recorded webinars dealing with economic trends, organizational performance, and public policy from the Conference Board of Canada, a not-for-profit applied research organization.

Search for 'Industry Lens' to find the outlook reports on these topics and download the forecast data in XLSX.

You must first register for the site. Go to the link above, click "Create a New Account", and use your Seneca e-mail address to create the account. On subsequent visits you will go to that same link above but click "Sign In" to sign in with that personal account information you previously created.

(Taylor and Francis / Routledge) Provides access to political and economic information on over 250 countries and territories.

Data can be exported to HTML, CSV, and tab-separated values.

(IBISWorld) Canadian and Ontario industry market research and industry risk ratings. Searchable by keyword, company name, or NAICS code.

Each report includes charts that can be downloaded in CSV, and a 'Key Statistics' section that includes industry data, key ratios, and annual change data that can be downloaded in XLSX.

(GlobalData) Provides access to a comprehensive collection of business information on over 200 countries and 3500 industries. It contains in-depth information on over 30000 public and private companies, market data for consumer products, and news feeds.

Industry data can be downloaded in XLS, including annual data and projections.

(Mintel International Group) Provides access to market research reports containing data and analysis of industry trends. Coverage includes Canadian, U.S., and select International Markets including: food and drink, consumer goods, beauty & personal care, retail, finance, technology, leisure, and travel.

Look for the Interactive Databook within a report to data, or download the Databook to XLS.

Users must create a personal profile/account with Mintel, using their Seneca e-mail address, to use certain parts of this service. Click "Hello Guest" in the upper-right corner of the database and then "My Portal".

(Euromonitor International) Provides access to global market analysis with comprehensive coverage of industries, countries and consumer trends.

Download data in XLS or PDF file formats.

(Scott's Directories) Provides access to a comprehensive directory of Canadian businesses with more than 350,000+ contacts from manufacturing, government, medical and education sectors.

(Statista, Inc.) Statistical data and analysis of business, industry, product brands, market share, media, and social scientific topics, obtained from both private and public sector sources, and covering all regions of the world.

Click "Get the data" below each chart to acquire the data in CSV/MS Excel format. Look for "Download as XLSX" icons near report sections.

(Vividata) A database of consumer demographics, media usage, lifestyle and attitudinal data, and product usage across 150+ categories, resulting from an annual national survey of readers of Canadian magazines and newspapers. Vividata is the amalgamated organization of two other media measurement bodies, NADbank and PMB.
