Find Industry and Market Analysis

Tip Getting Started with Market and Industry Research

Tip Keywords and Industry Searches

Industry: When you start, identify the market(s) your product might exist within. For example if you are looking at fitness watches. You might broaden your search to explore industry reports related to mobile technologies, health products and maybe more. On the other side, if you are looking at grocery stores, you might want to narrow your search to explore speciality grocery stores, independent stores, supermarkets, hypermarkets and more.

Keywords: Identify all the possible terms you may need for your searches. Example, if you are researching you mobile phones, you should also add smart phone and cell phones to your list of terms to search. If you're researching dog training, you might need to broaden your search to include something like animal training.

Watch for more information on keywords.
