We currently have 3 bookable spaces at Newnham, 2 bookable spaces at Seneca@York, and 1 space that is available upon request at King and SIA. The spaces can be booked by current students, faculty and staff.
Current Seneca students who are actively enrolled in at least one Seneca course during the semester the booking is requested. Current students may be enrolled in full-time or part-time studies. Students who are not currently registered for a course are not able to book Sandbox spaces.
Current Seneca faculty and staff who are actively employed by Seneca Polytechnic. Current faculty and staff have access to book Sandbox spaces.
Current HELIX participants are considered part of the Seneca community and can book Sandbox spaces. Helix participants will be asked to agree to and complete an online Sandbox terms of use form before or during their first booking. Helix participants can book the Sandbox by contacting the Sandbox team at sandbox@senecapolytechnic.ca.
Use of the Sandbox is limited to current Seneca students, faculty and staff. Alumni bookings may be considered on a case-by-case basis by contacting the Sandbox team at sandbox@senecapolytechnic.ca. When reviewing alumni bookings, factors such as studio demand, nature of the project and resources required will be considered.
