A comprehensive 3D atlas of the human body. Includes both text-based and video-based descriptions of anatomical structures, functions, and systems in the human body.
To get started, click on your browser, click on "Launch Human Anatomy Atlas" (laptop screen image). A new window opens, give it about a minute to load. Suggested Browser: Chrome.
For 3-D Images of the eye: select "Views then Microanatomy” (first 3 images, #1-3).
For video on Sight, select "Media" then under "Systems Overviews" scroll across to #12. Sight.
For Lab Activities relating to Eye, select "Quizzes", "Lab Activities," see under Eye and Ear Lab. Supporting Eye Lab resources: Lesson Plan & Lab Activity.
