New to Overdrive? Choose from the devices below to learn how to set up your device
before downloading Overdrive eBooks and audiobooks.

Windows Computer

eBooks

1. To read eBooks from OverDrive, download and install Adobe Digital Editions.
2. Open Adobe Digital Editions. Follow set-up instructions to obtain an Adobe ID and authorize your computer.
3. Click on Proceed to OverDrive below to start browsing and downloading eBooks.

Audiobooks

1. To listen to MP3 and WMA audiobooks, install Overdrive Media Console.
2. Click on Proceed to OverDrive below to start browsing and downloading audiobooks.

Mac Computer

iOS

1. To read ebooks from OverDrive, download and install the free OverDrive mobile app for iOS.
2. Open the OverDrive app. If you are using your device on OverDrive for the first time you will be prompted to authorize your device with an Adobe ID. Click here for detailed instructions on how to authorize your Apple device.
3. From the OverDrive app menu, tap on Get Books +.
4. Tap on the Find a Library icon and search for Seneca College.
5. Select Seneca College to start browsing and downloading ebooks.

Audiobooks

1. To listen to audiobooks from OverDrive, download and install the free OverDrive mobile app for iOS.
2. Open the OverDrive app and tap on Get Books +.
3. Tap on the Find a Library button to open the Library Finder screen. Search for Seneca College.
4. Select Seneca College to start browsing and downloading audiobooks.

Android

3. Open the OverDrive mobile app. Press the BlackBerry and select Get Books.
4. Tap on the Add a Library button and search for Seneca College.

3. From the OverDrive mobile app, swipe from right to left to view the Get Books screen.
4. Tap on More. Swipe from right to left to get to the Search screen and search for Seneca College.
5. Select Seneca College to start browsing and downloading ebooks.

1. To listen to audiobooks from OverDrive, download and install the free OverDrive mobile app for Windows Phone.
2. Open the OverDrive mobile app and swipe from right to left to view the Get Books screen.
3. Tap on More. Swipe from right to left to get to the Search screen and search for Seneca College.
4. Select Seneca College to start browsing and downloading audiobooks.

Acceptable Use Guidelines for Electronic Resources

Remote access to Seneca Libraries' electronic resources is limited to current Seneca students, faculty, and staff. Usage of the electronic products is monitored by Seneca College, and where incidents are found to be in violation of this agreement, the College will exercise its rights to take appropriate disciplinary action, as set forth in Seneca's Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy.
